Who Can Apply Without an Interview?

Applicants under 14 and over 80 years of age do not need to attend a visa interview; their applications are prepared and sent to the consulate by post. In addition, applicants who previously held a B-1/B-2 visa that expired less than 48 months ago can renew without an interview if they meet certain conditions.
